The International Optical Technologies Association and MySecurity Media have renewed their industry media partnership to maintain their recognition of each other’s role of influence, awareness and information sharing about the importance and continued success and growth of optical technologies. The IOTA’s mission is to advance the understanding, use and development of optical technologies, particularly in the authentication of products and documents, decoration and illustration, display systems, industrial applications and art.

The premise of the agreement, first signed in 2019 was based on cross recognition as prominent Security and Technology Industry participants with good standing and continue to enhance awareness of holography as a valuable security technology.

IOTA membership now embraces all developers and suppliers of security features based on technologies that, in addition to holography, include micro-lens arrays, micro-mirrors, plasmonics, nano-gratings, colour change, caustics, polarisation, photonic crystals, special print-generated effects, or a combination of these.

The media partnership is aligned to MySecurity Media’s existing Industry Partner program and the group’s international events and trading platform, Space and Earth Partners and Advisory. The partnership ensures the IOTA, its mission and initiatives are promoted, including to attract new members, and will include promotion of the IOTA Excellence in Optical Technologies Awards.
