BlueTide Capital, a global venture builder and tech enablement firm, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Space & Earth Partners & Advisory (SEPA), a global strategic consulting and industry network firm, on February 27 to accelerate its expansion into the deep tech market.
Through this partnership, both parties plan to jointly drive global market entry and commercialization across key deep tech sectors, including aerospace, defense, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence (AI). With Singapore as a strategic hub, the collaboration will focus on the Indo-Pacific and European regions, encompassing Proof of Concept (PoC) testbedding, market entry strategy development, local partnership building, business development, and investment linkage.
Key target markets include Australia, Europe, and India. Leveraging SEPA’s global network, the two organizations will collaborate with IPSEN (Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Network), a platform focused on space and security cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, to strengthen connections among governments, defense companies, and technology firms. The goal is to go beyond conventional market entry support and establish an “execution-driven” model that leads to project origination, contract execution, and revenue generation.
Headquartered in Singapore, BlueTide Capital operates across ASEAN and the broader Asia-Pacific region, supporting deep tech companies in global expansion. The firm’s core strength lies in its execution-oriented model that connects PoC validation to commercialization and revenue generation.
The BlueTide Capital team brings extensive experience across multiple deep tech sectors, including AI/ML, aerospace, cybersecurity, and biotechnology. The team has worked with startups, SMEs, multinational corporations, governments, and research institutions, with capabilities spanning government and defense projects, global market entry strategy, technology matching, partnership development, and management of R&D programs and grants.
In addition, the firm supports the development of talent pipelines through collaboration with universities and research institutions. It has also contributed to the World Bank’s Urban Heat Island study by identifying and managing partners providing satellite-based analytics. Furthermore, BlueTide Capital has participated as part of the venture team of space technology company Space Armour, supporting its commercialization efforts.
The firm has also been involved in collaborative projects with Nasdaq-listed biotech company Nanyang Biologics AI, expanding its footprint into AI-driven biotechnology. Additionally, it has supported Space Armour in developing commercialization and global expansion strategies, contributing to its successful market entry.
SEPA is a global strategy and investment advisory organization that connects governments, corporations, and investors across the space, defense, and digital technology sectors. Through its IPSEN platform, SEPA facilitates collaboration among key stakeholders in the global security and defense ecosystem, supporting cross-border industry expansion.
Sungmin Shin, CEO of BlueTide Capital, stated, “Through our partnership with SEPA, we have significantly strengthened our strategic approach and execution capabilities in the global market. We will actively support deep tech companies in creating tangible business opportunities and generating real revenue in key markets such as India, Australia, Europe, and the United States.”
David Matrai, Joint Managing Director of SEPA commented, “We look forward to working with the BlueTide team. By combining our networks and expertise, we aim to create meaningful projects and business opportunities on a global scale.”
