The Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference (IPSEC) is pleased to announce SIA-India as a Knowledge Partner for the upcoming 2024 conference. This collaboration will facilitate an Indian delegation’s visit to Perth, supported by Invest and Trade Western Australia (Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation). In anticipation of this visit, an Australia-India webinar was held to explore opportunities for collaboration between Australia and India in space and adjacent industries, celebrating India’s National Space Day.
IPSEC continues to unite leaders from across the Indo-Pacific to foster trade and investment opportunities in space, technology, and innovation. The 2024 conference will have a broader scope, co-locating with the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) and the Andy Thomas Space Education Forum, creating a comprehensive week of activities.
The partnership between Australia and India aligns with the Australian Government’s recent announcement of A$18 million (INR 98 core) funding for collaborative civilspace projects under the International Space Investment India (ISI India) Programme. SIA-India is committed to advancing industry growth and innovation by engaging with key governmental and global stakeholders.
